Headphones Double Standard

I hear traditional DJs today complain about the next generation of digital DJs not using headphones. They claim that if they aren't using headphones then they aren't real DJs. Ironically, if a vinyl DJ could mix without the need for headphones it was considered a sign of skill, and that DJ was praised for it. Sounds like a double standard to me. Why is it okay for a vinyl DJ to organize their records by BPM to reduce the need to beatmatch, but wrong for a digital DJ to let the computer beatmatch for them? Why is it okay for a vinyl DJ to use stickers as cue points, but wrong for a digital DJ to use cue points?
